Dear previous members of the Vinings Estates Dolphins Family,

Despite the cold winter, summer is just around the corner! Your Dolphins coordinators have been hard at work preparing a great swim season for your children. We can’t wait to see all of you back this summer!

“Fun First. Fast Always.” Fun day, ribbons and team spirit will always be a culture-driven hallmark of the Dolphins. But because your kids keep getting so FAST, we have to adapt and keep pace with our swimmers! Because our swim team is a HOME for both competitive swimmers and the fun-loving swimmers, we are modifying our coaching procedures and methods to meet the goals of ALL of our swimmers. We will explain more about how this will work during the Mandatory Parent Meeting. In the meantime, we are excited to introduce this year’s coaching staff which can be found at https://viningsestates.swimtopia.com/coaches, and will be complemented by three, professional guest coaches from local year-round swim teams on the following three dates: https://viningsestates.swimtopia.com/professional-guest-coach-days

We are beyond thrilled to announce the purchase of new, professional dive blocks. Thanks to the support of our HOA, the better part of the off-season was spent on the purchase (and underground anchors/concrete installation) of USA Swimming-standard dive blocks. They include a side step to help the younger swimmers step up as well as a backstroke bar. With a life expectancy of 10-30 years, these blocks represent the future of our team. See photo attached.

On Monday, March 16, returning swim families will receive an email registration link. The registration period for returning swimmers is March 16-March 29. If you have siblings who didn’t swim last year who want to participate this season, you can register them in this wave. Please make sure to secure your spot before we open registration to new swimmers.
