First Practice tomorrow!!
Hello!
It’s finally time to dive in! Dolphins, we kick off our season with practice tomorrow at the Crescent Ridge Pool. Each practice group will begin promptly on time, with an initial meet and greet with the coaches. The schedule is at: https://viningsestates.
General practice guidelines: This week, be sure to pick up your team tshirt and swim cap. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel, goggles and sweats to change into afterwards as the May water tends to be a little cooler. The weather looks good this week, but remember we DO swim in the rain. Please always assume practice is ON unless we tell you differently. A friendly reminder that the pool is closed to only registered swimmers on the team. No siblings are allowed to swim in the pool or the baby pool. Parents, you are encouraged to drop off your athletes. We always have adult coordinators on the pool deck to support our coaches in the event of an emergency. Please pick up your children promptly when his/her practice has ended.
If you have not submitted your volunteer check, you should have received a text message from Teri Coons, Volunteer Coordinator. If you were unable to drop off your check with Teri this past weekend, please make sure you bring the check to practice on Monday. Your child cannot particpate in practice until we receive your volunteer check. Thank you!
Speaking of volunteering, your first volunteer opportunity is now open for the Intrasquad Meet on Thursday, May 21. There are only a few jobs still available; THANK YOU everyone who has already volunteered! To volunteer, visit https://viningsestates.
ALL swimmers must be declared to Swim or Not Swim at every swim meet. The Intrasquad meet is highly encouraged for all swimmers (especially new swim families) to establish race times for the children and for the entire family to understand how a swim meet runs. Between now and the deadline of May 15, all parents must please declare your child’s status for the Intrasquad Swim Meet at https://viningsestates.
