Hello VE Dolphins!

Registration is now open for the Georgia Games Swim Meet! If you and your swimmers are available on June 13, you should take this opportunity to compete in this statewide meet that will expose your swimmer to another level of competition. The Georgia Games is an initiative of the Georgia Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes health, physical fitness, and amateur sports throughout the state. Because our summer swim season is such a short season, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

Whether your swimmer is a seasoned competitor or attending for the very first time, this is a fantastic, fun opportunity to participate in another swim meet.

This year, we would like to have a record number of swimmers attend and represent our Dolphins. Our VE Swim Coordinator Derek Hardy is organizing our VE Swim Team Swimmers, and you should feel free to reach out to him directly at 313-247-9937.

📅 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, June 13th
• Location: Cherokee County Aquatic Center(1200 Wellstar Way, Canton, GA 30114)
• Deadline: Early registration pricing ends May 28th (fees increase by $5 after this date).  Last day to register is June 8, 2026!!
• Registration Cost: $8.00 per swimmer + $5.00 for
  each individual event.

👥 Important Note for Relays

Because we cannot see who registers on the Georgia Games platform, please let us know as soon as you sign up so we can coordinate and ensure our relay lineups are correct.

• Crucial Step: If your athlete registers for a relay, please explicitly note within your registration that they will be swimming for the Vinings Estates Dolphins.
